Teething

Something is going down that has me a little concerned. Apparently my teeth are starting to break on through, cutting through my gums, sounds like fun? Its not. Looks like this goes on for a while also, it never ends I tell you, just finish with the colic vibe, now this.

So anything goes in my mouth now, anything I can chew on for a bit to sooth my aching gums. My favorite at the moment is Heffalump, his trunk is awesome to chew on, in the bath I like to munch on Sally Starfish and Allen the Alligator, so nice. Lets hope this teething thing does not last to long. 

Me and my new Book

I have a book, that is a whole 8 pages long, and a very intense read, every page is filled with bright colours and things to touch and hold with different textures . It is crazy and makes me laugh a lot, there is a dragonfly on one page with wings that scrunch when you hold them, it is crazy, what a sensation, I love sitting up and reading my fantastic book. 

My Hey Cavey

A surprise came in the post, all the way from England, a Hey Cavey for me. He is the cutest little fellow, and now joins me on most of my adventures, I like him to be with me all the time, he stands very easily next me even when I am lying down, what a champ. I think I must ask dad to order me some more, so I can fill my crib with them, they make me very happy. 

Fathers Day

Last Sunday was Fathers Day, my Papi's first one, we went to the Cape Point Vineyards for a picnic lunch. It was brilliant, we all went down to the tasting room, picked up our baskets filled with yummy food, bought some wine, and then made our way up to the picnic site. 

Everyone was there, all my family and friends, Aunties, Uncles, Nana'a, Papa's and cousins. I had a great time lying around in my pram, and then spent time being held by Aunty Heidi and Aunty Melissa, it was awesome.

For Fathers Day, I got Papi some fantastic PJ's, I had noticed the ones he was wearing around the house at night were looking a bit worn, so I got him a new pair, he said they were very comfy, I think he loved them. 

My Crib

Here is a little tour of my crib in my nursery. This is where I spend a good part of my day, sleeping, boy o boy do I love to sleep. 

It has a whole assortment of plush toys in it to keep me company, my favorite at the moment is the Nag Apie, with his huge eyes, he is hilarious and makes me laugh. My crib also has lovely netting around it, so in the summer time, none of those pesky mosquito's can munch on me. I love it in my crib, what a comfy place.

Mom and Me

Every day my mom and me get to spend time together, and it is the best ever, we sing, and play and I love her the most, it is going to be quite a sad day when she has to go back to work, but until then I will make every moment count with her, because she is the best ! 

Photo Shoot in Jakkelsfontein

This last weekend, I went away on my very first long weekend away. Dad took Friday off, and Granny Val , Mom, Dad and myself went away to Aunty Heidi's spot in Jakkelsfontein. Granny Val leaves today so it was nice to spend time with her before she leaves. 

We spend a bit of Saturday having a little photo shoot, Dad took some nice photos of my whilst I lazed around on my holiday. It was lots of fun, I tried to smile as much as I could.

I hope we get to go away again sometime on a holiday, it was very fun to be away in a different place, I even saw some Ostriches and other funny birds called Franklins in the garden, fun. 

Some new Outfits

Some new outfits made an appearance over the weekend, Dad whipped out my custom Dunny printed baby grow, made specially for me by Aunty Kim. This Dunny printed on it is something that Mom and Dad collect, along with other stuff also, these Vinyl Toys are all over the house, I even have my own one in my room, and think I shall start collecting once I earn some pocket money.

The other outfit came from Aunty Kels, its a lovely number with matching hat, which i wore on my trip to Darling on Saturday. The shoes are special also, Uncle Anton and Aunty Leanne who live in the Falkland islands, they were a bit big but hell comfy. 

Mothers Day

Mothers Day is a day that celebrates my mom, we went to a lunch at Uncle Craig and Auntie Misty's house, there were lots and lots of people there. My mom got me a special outfit for the day. A little colourful number for lunch, and then a teddy bear fluffy outfit over it for warmth, this is the best outfit i have ever had on, and people loved it, my eyeballs were aching from the flashes of so many photos taken of me, apparently i was uber cute. 

I also had some photos taken with my cousins Justin and Liam, they are always fussing over me and loving me, i think shall appoint them my protectors, they can look after me when they are older, I think they are up to the job.

Play Matt

This is a very important time for my development apparently, so we have this cool play matt with stimulating noises and things to look at on it, its a little overwhelming at times, but i try take it all in. Soon i will try grab one of those dangling animals, yes i will. 
With winter looming, my head get a little chilly, but this Hello Kitty beanie from Grandma Val keeps me nice and toasty warm.
