Photo Shoot in Jakkelsfontein

This last weekend, I went away on my very first long weekend away. Dad took Friday off, and Granny Val , Mom, Dad and myself went away to Aunty Heidi's spot in Jakkelsfontein. Granny Val leaves today so it was nice to spend time with her before she leaves. 

We spend a bit of Saturday having a little photo shoot, Dad took some nice photos of my whilst I lazed around on my holiday. It was lots of fun, I tried to smile as much as I could.

I hope we get to go away again sometime on a holiday, it was very fun to be away in a different place, I even saw some Ostriches and other funny birds called Franklins in the garden, fun. 

Some new Outfits

Some new outfits made an appearance over the weekend, Dad whipped out my custom Dunny printed baby grow, made specially for me by Aunty Kim. This Dunny printed on it is something that Mom and Dad collect, along with other stuff also, these Vinyl Toys are all over the house, I even have my own one in my room, and think I shall start collecting once I earn some pocket money.

The other outfit came from Aunty Kels, its a lovely number with matching hat, which i wore on my trip to Darling on Saturday. The shoes are special also, Uncle Anton and Aunty Leanne who live in the Falkland islands, they were a bit big but hell comfy. 

Mothers Day

Mothers Day is a day that celebrates my mom, we went to a lunch at Uncle Craig and Auntie Misty's house, there were lots and lots of people there. My mom got me a special outfit for the day. A little colourful number for lunch, and then a teddy bear fluffy outfit over it for warmth, this is the best outfit i have ever had on, and people loved it, my eyeballs were aching from the flashes of so many photos taken of me, apparently i was uber cute. 

I also had some photos taken with my cousins Justin and Liam, they are always fussing over me and loving me, i think shall appoint them my protectors, they can look after me when they are older, I think they are up to the job.

Play Matt

This is a very important time for my development apparently, so we have this cool play matt with stimulating noises and things to look at on it, its a little overwhelming at times, but i try take it all in. Soon i will try grab one of those dangling animals, yes i will. 
With winter looming, my head get a little chilly, but this Hello Kitty beanie from Grandma Val keeps me nice and toasty warm. 

Grandma Val arrives from Austria

Grandma Val arrived last week from Austria, that's in Europe and she flew a long way to come see me. She had to pay lots of money for and extra suitcase to take with on the plane, and in the suitcase was lots of stuff for me. 

She had so many things for me, most of them being Hello Kitty themed of course, I think i am supposed to like HK because my mom loves her so much, I am still undecided though.There was Hello Kitty raincoat, teddy bears, socks, shirts, shoes, cutlery, plates, hats, towels, everything was Hello Kitty.

I lay down on the bed and just wallowed in all the goodies, felt great, cant wait to start wearing all this stuff, my favorite is the raincoat,come on winter so I can put it on. 

5 Weeks today

That is all, 5 weeks today, feeling good, looking great. 

Mirror, Mirror

Before my bath the other night, Dad was taking photos of me lying on my changing matt, and behind me was the bathroom mirror, the reflection was confusing me, I looked back and could see another girl just like me, very weird. 

He also wraps me up in my hooded towel after, very fun to have a hood on, I feel very safe and warm in that hood, what a great feeling. 

Day out in a Carrier

Last weekend we tried something new, heading out the house, strapped to dad in a carrier. On Saturday we went down to the market at the Old Biscuit Mill, this is where mom and dad had their wedding, I did not see much though because I fell asleep whilst mom and dad had some lovely food and drinks.

On Sunday we went for a stroll on the Sea Point promenade, it was lovely to smell the fresh sea air and hear the waves crashing, lets hope there is more of this every weekend !

My first proper Bath

Until now, dad has been giving me a good wash down with a cloth, but now it was time to experience a full on, submerged in water bath. 

I loved it, it was amazing, sitting in the warm water, all my troubles faded away, I releaxed and focused on the good life. Next dad says he is going to throw in a few toys, cant wait for this!

My Chair

I have this awesome chair that mom puts me in now and again, mainly when she is making dad supper or just for me to have a play in, I love it, when mom pushes a button, it vibrates, quite a vibe I tell you, first time I felt this , I had no idea what was going on, now I love it.
